Secret #1: Monitor New Listings & Filter Out Rugs

So the first secret is, you need to monitor Uniswap for new listings and have some filters to screen out rugs.

The big idea here is most new token listings are scams. Some asshole deploys a new contract with a catchy name, buys from his other wallets to make it looks like there’s real demand, waits for real people to buy, then removes all the liquidity so no one can sell their tokens.

However, scammers are also lazy and leave clues on the chain. Once you know what these clues are, you know which tokens to avoid at all costs. Meaning the ones you do buy have a lot higher chance of being very profitable, especially when you get in early.

Now that leads me to the second secret:

Secret #2: Watch the Mempool

The second secret is, you need to monitor the mempool.

What is the mempool? It’s a “pool” of pending transactions on the ETH or BSC blockchain. It allows you to monitor transactions before they are officially confirmed. When you can access this, it’s like being able to slow down time.

You can see exactly when a token is open for trading so you can get your buy in as early as possible. Or if they have “anti-sniping” features in the contract, you can see exactly when you’re allowed to buy without any penalties. (Hint: it’s is always sooner than the time they announce in their Telegram channels).

You can also see exactly when a dev is going to pull liquidity, raise sell taxes, or blacklist your wallet. And you can front run them by selling with high gas so you avoid getting rugged.

Secret #3: Trade Using Etherscan, Not Uniswap

The third secret is you need to buy tokens directly through Etherscan, and not the Uniswap UI.

I gave this secret away in our previous articles, and people were able to get great results from speed advantage they gained over the majority of folks who buy through the Uniswap or Pancakeswap interface, which is often laggy.

However, one thing we left out is you should also use a private RPC which gives you an additional speed boost when submitting your buy transaction.
